Position Summary:
The customer service representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers. In addition, the ideal candidate should communicate effectively with team members within the various departments. The receptionist duties will cover the front switchboard in a backup capacity and will cover breaks, lunch hour, afternoons, vacation / sick time, and various other times as needed. Prior Title/Mortgage Services Industry experience preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Cross-training- Policy scanning
- Greets Visitors
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and faxes
- Perform Various Administrative tasks for employees (i.e. sort mail, prepare overnight packing slips/schedule pick-ups, lunch meeting coordination, monthly birthday celebration coordination, telephone conference call line scheduling)
- Primary Point of Contact for customers and vendors
- Perform multiple customer service duties for the general public, our licensed agents/employees, lenders or other agencies.
- Call routing to appropriate department
- Various administrative support tasks
- Additional duties as assigned by management
- Policy corrections and endorsements for recorded legal documents.
Experience and Competencies:
- Prior Banking or Title experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills.

- Strong PC skills – Experience with Microsoft Excel
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
